Top Ten Tuesday: Spring TBR

hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This is always difficult for me to figure out which 10 books I want to put on this list but I'm going to try and narrow it down.  I'm going to break it down a little bit.

New Releases (Within the Last 6 months)
1. The Young Elites by Marie Lu
2. The Cemetery Boys by Heather Brewer
3. The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson

I know Maureen Johnson and Marie Lu's books very well and I'm extremely excited to keep reading their books as they come out.  Heather Brewer's book just looks so intriguing that I'm definitely going to have to pick it up this spring!

4. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
5. Rebecca by Daphne Du Marier
6. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

All of these fall under the category of 'Books Leigh Has Been Yelling at Me to Read'  The goal is to read at least one of these this spring and hopefully all three of them.  We'll see where my fancy hits.

Everything Else:
7. Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
8. Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
9. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
10. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

All of these books are burning a hole on my bookshelf waiting to be read and this spring is the time to do it!

  1. Great list! The Young Elites also made my list. I've heard great things about it so I'm going to have to buy it and read it asap! Jane Eyre is such an amazing classic and Rainbow Rowell's books are so so good! Plus I really need to get The Shadow Cabinet as I really enjoyed the previous books! Hope you get to all these books and enjoy them!

    1. Me too! Those three are pretty high up on my priorities right now so they'll probably be read first. :)

  3. Jane Eyre and Rebecca are both lovely. And is that the 3rd book in Maureen Johnson's series - I've read the 1st and have the 2nd. Need to get on them! Good luck with your list!

    1. I'm really excited to read Maureen Johnson's latest in this series! She crafts that story so well, I need to know what happens next!

  4. I've heard good things about Cemetery Boys and need to get to Hollow City at some point as well. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I saw an interview with the Author of Cemetery Boys and she's hilarious and wacky. Just based on that I hope I love that book!

  5. I haven't read any of these. Well, I did get half way through Jane Eyre when I was younger. I should probably revisit it now.
    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Jane Eyre's been one I've meant to tackle for ages now. Hopefully, this spring will be the time!
